 Touchdown Club Banquet Posted: February 10, 12:22 pm | (permalink) | (0 comments) The Touchdown Club of Annapolis 56th Annual Football Awards Banquet, originally scheduled for tomorrow, has been pushed back one week. Touchdown Club president Bill Wagner announced the banquet will now be held on Thursday, Feb. 18 (6:30 p.m.) at the DoubleTree Hotel on Riva Road. Carl Peterson, the former president, CEO and general manager of the Kansas City Chiefs and current Chairman of USA Football, will still serve as guest speaker. All the major award winners along with master of ceremonies Pete Medhurst have confirmed they will be in attendance next Thursday. Any family or fans who will be in town next Thursday to attend the Navy football banquet are welcome to also attend the Touchdown Club banquet, which will include comments from head coach Ken Niumatalolo and the presentation of the Silver Helmet Award to linebacker Ross Pospisil.
