Arina Brown loves the Kmart in Glen Burnie because it isn't mobbed the way other stores in the area are.

"They've always been like this for years, never crowded," she said.

But what has attracted the shopper of 15 years may be the reason the store will close in November.

"I'm very sad to see it go," she said. "It's ridiculous."

The Kmart will close on Nov. 15, putting 60 employees out of work.

"As a normal course of business we evaluate our properties," said Kim Freely, spokeswoman for Sears Holdings Corp, owner of Kmart. "The lease is not being renewed on the property."
