Brooklyn Park's portion of Ritchie Highway could have a unified appearance and more of a pedestrian-friendly feel if residents have their way.

Those are just a couple things they have told county officials with the Office of Planning and Zoning's Long Range Planning Division over the past few months as part of its Brooklyn Park Urban Design Study.

Officials will present all the comments they have received as part of the final meeting for the study, which will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Brooklyn Park library, 1 E. 11th Ave.
