A key participant in any movement toward creating a free health clinic in Glen Burnie yesterday praised the proposal and expressed interest in discussing it further.

Mary Lanham, a spokeswoman for Baltimore Washington Medical Center, said a clinic is in line with the hospital's purpose.

"We want to make sure that everyone gets care who needs care and so if they are willing to open a free clinic to help those in need, that's great and we'd love to talk to them about it," Lanham said.
