| Students get glimpse of their futures

Representatives from about 20 companies and organizations Saturday met with county middle and high school students to talk about college applications, internships, financial aid, personal finances and technical jobs. The third annual Career Expo, held at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burniem attracted about 400 students and nearly as many parents. Discussions ranged from how to get a security clearance, which is necessary for many of the new government jobs coming to this region, to how to land a backstage career in the arts.
