Boy Scout Troop 339 passes 20 years with Adopt-A-Highway

Boy Scout Troop 339 from Severna Park was the first to sign up for the new Adopt-A-Highway program in Maryland 20 years ago.

And they're one of 27 Maryland organizations who have stuck with the program ever since.

"To find a group who's been active for 20 years faithfully is very far and in-between, we don't have very many," said Beverly Goetz, the coordinator for the State Highway Administration's program.

"That they were still out there was amazing in itself, we were really happy to see that they were still out there doing their thing."

Troop 339 meets on Wednesdays at Woods...
