| Linthicum: Retiring from teaching, not from reaching out

After 27 years of teaching, with 13 years in the oil industry sandwiched in between, Leo Zerhusen has decided to retire. Zerhusen said, "the most memorable times are the wonderful students that walk into your life and often touch you as much as you touch them and being able to share the Christian message of how unique and special every child is that sits before you." A graduate of Loyola College, he has a master's equivalency, teaching certification and special education certification. He taught religious education and has been a confirmation sponsor and group leader for Holy Trinity Church and St. Philip Neri... This story has expired!
