| Olde Mill-Millersville: Patriot grad to fly at Air Force Academy

Following the military tradition of his family, Old Mill High School graduate Christopher Twigg left for Colorado Springs Tuesday to start basic cadet training at the Air Force Academy. Twigg received unconditional appointments to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. "My parents were very supportive," said Twigg of his decision to accept the appointment to the Air Force Academy. The support should come as no surprise considering the many military branches on the family tree. His father, Robert, retired as a major after serving 20 years in the Army.
