Following the military tradition of his family, Old Mill High School graduate Christopher Twigg left for Colorado Springs Tuesday to start basic cadet training at the Air Force Academy.

Twigg received unconditional appointments to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.

"My parents were very supportive," said Twigg of his decision to accept the appointment to the Air Force Academy.
