County women

The Anne Arundel County Commission for Women is seeking volunteers to help address the needs of families in the county.

The commission serves as a resource and advocacy group and advises officials on issues of significance to women. Members are appointed by the County Executive for a two-year term. They must be able to attend monthly evening meetings on the second Thursday of the month and additional standing committee meetings.

Additional volunteers can assist with Women's History Month and other activities involved with the welfare of women.
