| West County: Fireworks and fun on Fort Meade

Fort George G. Meade will open its gates to the public again this Saturday to celebrate the Fourth of July starting from noon to 9:30 p.m. on the McGlachlin Parade Field. Vendors will sell food, drinks and fun items available for purchase. Those seeking some thrills can enjoy a skateboard ramp area and such attractions as adrenaline rush obstacle courses, thrill slide, bounce and slide, mini-moonbounce, inflatable jousting, spin ride, and rock climbing wall. Rides cost 50 cents per ticket or $12 for an all-day bracelet. There also will be carnival games and an arts and crafts tent with gemstone mining, sand art, spin... This story has expired!
