The annual Queenstown Day celebration sponsored by the Severn Improvement Association will take place this weekend, beginning with Gospelfest at 7 p.m. Friday at Metropolitan United Methodist Church, 548 Queenstown Road, Severn.

The celebration will feature Kevin Carter and Friends from Baltimore, the Praise and Worship Dance Youth Troupe from Rising Sun Baptist Church, and the Rev. Sheldon Brown.

Refreshments will be served.
