The Andover Tigers Swim Team recently completed their 2009 swim season with a 4-0-1 record, earning them the Central Maryland Swim League Division II Championship.

The team calls the Andover Recreation Club on Main Avenue and is part of the Central Maryland Swim League. The league has 52 teams from community pools and swim clubs that participate throughout Maryland and is divided into ten divisions.

The team of 142 swimmers is coached by head coach Sue Wenzlick. She also competed with the team herself from 1971 to 1983 and still holds some Andover records. During her college years she coached the Tigers during its 1985 and...
