Pasadena: Bone marrow drive to honor Zoe Quinn Francis

The Zoe Quinn Francis fund is holding a bone marrow drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 10 at Big Vanilla Athletic Club, 26 Magothy Beach Road.

Zoe Quinn Francis was 3 years old when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. After an eight-month remission, Zoe relapsed, forcing her to require additional chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and a bone marrow transplant. Sadly, just two months before her fifth birthday, Zoe lost her nearly two-year battle.

To join the registry, participants must be between the ages of 18 and 60, in good health and willing to donate to anyone in need. Participants need to fill out a form and...
