| Nonprofit opens Glen Burnie office to reach north county poor

It didn't take long for north county's needy residents to find the Anne Arundel Community Action Partnership. The Annapolis agency opened a satellite office in Glen Burnie about a month ago, and workers say they're already meeting with as many as 30 people a day. Some need help with their energy bills, while others are in danger of losing their homes. Officials with the outreach group say that's exactly why they decided to open a second location here.
