The National Family Caregivers Support Program at the county Department of Aging will host a series of workshops on dementia at the Pascal Senior Center, 125 Dorsey Road, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17 and 24. The workshops will be lead by registered nurse Mary Fridley.

The first workshop is "The Truth and Nothing But the Truth: Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease." Participants can learn about the cause and effect of the disease and current research efforts.
