| Brooklyn Park: Scouts to sweep clean Brooklyn Park again

About 200 Cub and Boy Scouts from around the county will descend on Brooklyn Park Nov. 28 to clean the streets, which is more than double last year's number. The Clean Sweep event will run from 8 to 10 a.m., and the Scouts from the Boy Scouts of America Four Rivers District will meet at Park Elementary School, 201 E. 11th Ave., then spread out to clean behind the school and nearby shopping centers and alleys, said organizer Dave Bastien, a Roland Terrace resident and Eagle Scout.
