In celebration of American Education Week, St. Philip Neri Catholic School, 6401 S. Orchard Road, will hold an open house from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

On Sept. 8, 1965, the school opened with students attending kindergarten through fourth grade. Forty-five years later, the school has an enrollment of over 400 students, in prekindergarten through eighth grade.

At the open house, prospective families will receive a tour of the campus, have a chance to speak to the administration, receive information regarding tuition, including multi-child discounts and tuition assistance. Registrations will be accepted for the 2010-11...
