Karen Dixon, a behavioral interventionist at Lindale Middle School, sat at table in the school's newly revamped teachers' lounge earlier, enjoying the decidedly inviting atmosphere.

Before Abundant Life Church came in and painted, added plush furniture and new decorations, it wasn't much of a place to spend time.

"It wasn't a very inviting or relaxing atmosphere," Dixon said. "The only thing that met your eye was the vending machines."
