Cats, kittens perish in 2-alarm blazeGLEN BURNIE - Two cats and two litters of kittens were killed Thanksgiving Day in a two-alarm blaze at a Glen Burnie apartment building, county Fire Department officials said. Firefighters were called to Henny Mack's Inn at 7126 East Furnace Branch Road just before 4:30 p.m. for reports of smoke coming from the business. Crews originally thought smoke was coming from the bar, but found the blaze was actually in the basement of an attached apartment building, said Capt.
