People can learn how humans have used the Chesapeake as a resource when the evening group of the Ann Arundel Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Severna Park library, 45 McKinsey Road. Henry Miller, historical archeologist and director of research for the Maryland State Museum in St. Mary's City, will present "An Abundant and Fruitful Land: An Overview of Human Use of the Chesapeake Through History."
