The Glen Burnie Park community, with the help of Santa Claus, will sponsor its annual Santa food drive on Dec. 12.

Santa will begin his neighborhood tour at 10 a.m., walking through the community and handing out candy canes to the children.

Neighbors who wish to make a donation to the annual effort should place nonperishable food in a plastic bag and leave it outside of their front door. Cash donations also will be accepted.

All of the donated food will be given to the administration at Glen Burnie Park Elementary School to distribute to local families in need. Cash donations will be used to purchase hams for the food...
