About 150 children, many from needy families in the Brooklyn Park area, got their pictures taken with Santa, received knit hats for the winter and snacked on sweets donated by the community as part of the Brooklyn Heights C-SAFE's annual "Santa Night" Christmas party Dec. 7.

The line into C-SAFE's office in the shopping center at Ritchie Highway and Eleventh Avenue to see Santa, played by Bob Moore, a retired police officer from Brooklyn Park, stretched out the door and past two storefronts for part of the event.
