Area churches and organizations will offer many New Year's worship services, parties and activities planned to ring in the new year tomorrow:

The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 7606 Quarterfield Road, will host a New Year's Eve game night beginning at 8 p.m. The evening will feature board games, card games and refreshments. Sparkling cider will be served at midnight with noise makers to ring in the new year.

Participants are asked to take their favorite board game and refreshments to share
