| Glen Burnie West: Two North County High teachers make award's short list

Two North County High School teachers were named last week to the short list of semi-finalists for the 24th annual Excellence in Education awards sponsored by the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce and county public school system. Patricia Kuehne, a math teacher and Renee Michelle Stout, an AVID teacher were among fifteen teachers named as semi-finalists. Other local teachers who were among the 54 nominees for the award included: Jamie Chestnut, a fourth-grade teacher at Oakwood Elementary School; Jordan Bennett, a math teacher at North County High School and Diane McGrath an art teacher at Richard Henry Lee...
