| Linthicum: Local schools celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday

Students at Linthicum Elementary School and St. Philip Neri School joined most of the county schools by coming up with clever ways to celebrate reading and Dr. Seuss' birthday during the week of March 2. Throughout the week at Linthicum Elementary, there was a specific theme to follow each day. On Monday, "Welcome to Whoville Day," students could dress like their favorite book character. Tuesday, "Oh, the Places We Go," students wore a shirt from anywhere in the world. Wednesday, "Get Tied Up In a Good Book," everyone wore a tie to school.
