The Omicron Gamma Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority recently held a birthday party for Dorothy Matthews, the chapter's adopted grandparent.

Matthews turned 100 on March 19.

In addition to Matthews and sorority members, the party was attended by other residents of Glen Burnie Health and Rehabilitation Center, Matthew's nephew Olden Kelly and other well-wishers. Saxophonist Ike Clayton provided musical entertainment.
