| Olde Mill - Millersville: Derby crashes into fairgrounds

The Nationwide Demolition Derby is coming to the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, 1450 General's Highway in Crownsville, on Aug. 7. Admission gates open at 4 p.m. with the event starting at 7 p.m., rain or shine. Local drivers will be competing in four metal-crushing events with the survivors moving on to the championship round for $1,500 in prize money. There will be a moon bounce and face painting for children. The cost is $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children ages 5 and younger.
