| Music Box: Carbon Leaf plays 2 shows in Annapolis this weekend

Virginia-based band Carbon Leaf struck a chord with radio listeners and concert-goers upon the release of their rootsy Celtic debut album, "Indian Summer." Word spread quickly as Carbon Leaf secured opening slots on tours with Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer and Counting Crows. In 2001 they won a Coca-Cola sponsored unsigned band contest that landed them a performance on the American Music Awards. These guys are huge crowd-pleasers and bring out the best in audiences wherever they go. The band released their seventh studio album, "Nothing Rhymes with Woman," earlier this year.
