| Man gets 7 years for intentional hit-and-run

An 18-year-old Glen Burnie man was sentenced last week to seven years in prison for "door checking" two brothers last summer in Queen Anne's County. Prosecutors said Nathan Wade Hartley Jr., of 7878 Americana Circle, intentionally ran over the 11-year-old and 15-year-old brothers on Aug. 29 in Chester Harbor because he was bored and it looked fun in a video game. "This was particularly disturbing," said Deputy State's Attorney John Mark McDonald, noting Hartley's "complete lack of caring for his fellow man."
