Like many 19-year-olds, Dakota Kelly Alder wasn't quite sure what he wanted to do with his life.

The Pasadena man recently graduated from military school and told friends and family he might want to join the military. But he was happy as the assistant manager at the Champs sporting goods store in Marley Station mall.

Now no one will know. Alder died Friday after succumbing to injuries suffered Wednesday night in a car crash in Glen Burnie.

"He would just do anything for anybody," said his mother, Denise Alder, as she fought off tears. "He was very kind-hearted and full of life."
