Liquor thefts

Two Glen Burnie liquor stores reported that people shoplifted alcohol earlier this week, county police said.

Officers were called Monday to Frank's Den at 1814 Crain Highway at about 7 p.m. An employee reported that four men came into the store, and one of them took a 1/2 gallon bottle of Patron and attempted to walk into the bar area.

The employee stopped him and said he had to pay for it first. All four men walked back as if they were going to pay, but then ran out the door with the liquor, police said.
