Unlike the up-tempo beats thumping out of the two speaker stands in the Glen Burnie Town Center Tuesday night, the crowd for the Zumba demonstration developed slowly.

Terry Gephart and her partner twisted, threw hands up and down and spun for just over 15 minutes, before the tree lighting ceremony, as about two-dozen people joined.

"It's fun and it gets you in shape," Gephart said. "It shapes your arms and your core, everything, because you are shaking and moving."
