This week most of you will have found plastic bags attached to your front door, mail box, or otherwise placed at your house. These are donation bags for the Boy Scouts yearly "Scouting for Food" drive. You are requested to place non-perishable food stuffs (cans, boxes, etc.) in the bag and leave it out front of your house Saturday for pickup by a local Scout troop. These food drives provide tens of thousands of pounds of food to area food banks, providing much needed aid to families in need. Within the United States, Scouting is an old tradition.
