People and plows The historic amounts of snowfall this year really put our resources to the test. In December, we recorded more than 20 inches at BWI Marshall Airport in a single day. Of course, that was followed by back-to-back snowfalls of 25 and 20 inches in a single week in February. We greatly appreciate the compliments received from many of our citizens. I was extremely pleased with the way our county crews and contractors performed. Joanna Conti's criticism (Maryland Gazette, Feb. 24) suggests discontinuing the GPS tracking program hurt our ability to provide efficient use of our resources merits correction....
