BALTIMORE - Archbishop Spalding football coach Mike Whittles showed his team a highlight video of the 2005 season in preparation for the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association B Conference championship game.

On Saturday, his team provided enough footage to create a sequel.

The Cavaliers avenged their only regular-season loss with a 12-0 win over previously unbeaten Boys' Latin to win their third MIAA championship.

The 2005 team won its title in similar fashion, prompting Whittles to show this year's squad the video in hopes of motivating it to do the same.
