Kamyiah Surgeon had 24 points, 20 rebounds, five assists and four steals to lead Annapolis girls basketball team past North County, 69-57.

Surgeon is now just 26 points away from becoming the seventh player in school history to break 1,000 career points for the Panthers (9-8).

Kelly Rinard added 12 points and five rebounds for Annapolis, while EaSean Johnson added seven points and eight rebounds. Nicole Brown had nine points.

Brielle Bradford led the Knights with 23 points, while Ayonche Clash chipped in with 18 points.
