The West County Democratic Club meets at 7 p.m. Monday at Perry's Golden Flame Restaurant, 1210 Annapolis Road, Odenton.

The guest speaker will be Zed Smith, vice president of development with the Cordish Cos. He will discuss development plans, parking and security concerns, and its effect on the communities near Arundel Mills mall.

Citizens interested in the slots issue are welcome to attend.
