Hundreds protest taxes in Annapolis

Second tea party held in City to decry tax policies

About 200 people gathered at City Dock in Annapolis Thursday to protest federal and state tax policies and complain that elected leaders are turning a deaf ear to their concerns.

"We're mad as hell at our government," Severn resident Joe Mallary said. "Everything we've complained about, they've passed anyway."

The protest was the second such event held in Annapolis this year, though Thursday's protest drew a significantly smaller crowd.
