| Man guilty in fatal Pasadena crash

A Pasadena man pleaded guilty yesterday to one count of auto manslaughter in a January car crash that left a Severna park woman dead. Christopher Nelson - who also was convicted of almost killing the woman's boyfriend - will face up to 18 months in jail when he is sentenced Oct. 7 in county Circuit Court, attorneys said. Prosecutors said Nelson, 26, of 8232 Waterford Road, was drunk Jan. 8 when he crashed head-on into a southbound car on Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard in Pasadena. Elizabeth Meryl Fowler, 54, died in the wreck and Steven Desombre, 45, suffered life-threatening injuries to his head, chest and hip that required... This story has expired!
