A long-running dispute over community property in Riviera Beach has landed in county Circuit Court.

In a lawsuit filed last week, lawyers for the Riviera Improvement Community Association argue that Riverbea Corp., trustee of all community-owned property in Riviera Beach, is harming residents' quality of life.

Riverbea board members have ordered certain waterfront residents to yank out their piers or pay them money, have sold community property without telling residents and have mismanaged erosion control projects, the lawsuit claims.
