As drum major of North County High's marching band, Nadia Natafgi is used to performing before large crowds.

Multiply the number of people at a typical Friday night football game by millions, and that's about how many people the 17-year-old will perform in front of when she marches in the Macy's Day Thanksgiving Parade as part of the Great American Marching Band.

The annual holiday tradition draws hundreds of thousands of spectators, and millions more watch it on TV.

"I've watched it every year since I can remember," Nadia said. "I like all the cool animal balloons."
