County police have charged a Baltimore County man with robbing three Linthicum businesses at knifepoint and are investigating whether he was involved in similar holdups in other counties.

Ryan Insley, 34, of Sykesville was arrested on Nov. 9 in Baltimore, one month after being released from jail in Baltimore County.

Police said they identified Insley as a suspect after finding a knife they suspect the robber left behind at one of the crime scenes.
