Two-alarm blaze displaces familyFORT MEADE - A family of five was displaced Sunday afternoon in a two-alarm fire. Firefighters from Fort George G. Meade responded to a fire in one of the units in a row of five townhouses in the 5000 block of Stewart Court at about 12:15 p.m., said Mary Doyle, an Army spokeswoman. A battalion chief, four engines, a ladder truck and two fire investigators with the county Fire Department assisted, said Division Chief Michael Cox, a county Fire Department spokesman.
