Theater evacuated after small fireHANOVER - About 3,000 people were evacuated Sunday from the Cinemark Theater at Arundel Mills mall after a small fire broke out in a concession stand, county Fire Department officials said. Firefighters were called to 7000 Arundel Mills Blvd. at about 4:10 p.m. to investigate heavy black smoke coming from the roof of the theater, said Lt. Frank Fennell, a county Fire Department spokesman. Some smoke got into two theaters in the building. Theater managers decided to evacuate 3,000 people from the lobby and the 24 theaters.
