| Parents ask school board to reconsider redistricting

Katie Frank walked to the microphone backed by 12 Quarterfield Elementary School parents dressed in red shirts and gave the county school board plenty to think about. The board was at Glen Burnie High School Wednesday night to listen to public reaction on its plans to redraw the boundaries of three school districts. Armed with facts and figures, Frank said she was against the proposal to move 21 potential students from a proposed 119-home subdivision in Severn from Ridgeway Elementary to her children's school.
