2nd North County High student dies

HIGHLAND SPRINGS, VA. - A North County High School student was killed Monday in a car accident, county school officials confirmed.

Keyson Barnes, a 16-year-old who had just completed his freshman year, was killed in a crash. According to the Richmond Times Dispatch, the crash happened at about 2 a.m. on Intestate 295, the right rear tire of the minivan he was riding in exploded, flipping the car several times.

He was the only one killed in the crash, the paper reported.
