The Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Community Chamber Day on Saturday, May 12.

After a disappointing turnout last year, the group hopes to draw more comers with improvements and additions.

"We've upgraded the event," said Fran Schmidt, the chamber's executive director. "We have a separate kid's area, with a moon bounce and other games and activities for children of all ages. The whole idea is to have it be a family friendly event."

Last year, kids had little to do while their parents strolled around to shop and network.
