All Tony Legambi wanted to do was adopt a puppy. The 18-year-old Linthicum man went to Animal Control in Millersville on Sept. 28 and picked the one he wanted: a 10-month old chow mix named Sierra. On his dad's advice, he waited 24 hours before going through with the adoption. But right after they brought the dog home, something seemed wrong. Sierra, who they renamed Macy, was lethargic and vomiting. "She never barked; I never heard her bark once. She sneezed a lot..." he said. "I thought she just had a cold or something like that."
