| Monday Girls Basketball: St. Mary's rallies to nip Broadneck

The Broadneck girls basketball team seemingly had its non-conference, intra-county game against St. Mary's in the bag Monday night, but then Melissa Perkins stole it away. The Saints junior guard came up with two steals in the final 14 seconds that led to the game-tying and game-winning points in the Saints' improbable 58-56 come-from-behind victory at home. St. Mary's, which had trailed by as many as 15 points in the second quarter, outscored the Bruins 21-9 in a pivotal third quarter to get back in the game and set the stage for the heroics.
