The Glen Burnie Improvement Association is selling advance raffle tickets for its 2008 carnival car raffle.

This year, the association is selling chances to win a 2008 Ford Focus sedan. The automatic transmission, four-door sedan is silver frost in color, has front and side air bags and gets 33 miles per gallon of gasoline.

The winning ticket will be drawn at approximately 11 p.m. on Aug. 2, the last night of the Big Glen Burnie Carnival.

Raffle tickets cost $2 each or $5 for three tickets. Checks made payable to the G.B. Carnival can be presented for tickets purchased prior to July 20.
